DudsElion bent her head down, totally engrossed in the story that she scrawled across the plain white papers. A whole world was coming alive on those pages. Her pen made small scratching sounds on the crisp surface of the papers. The only sound along with her breathing that she heard in the nearly empty café. She was lost. Completely lost in the world flowing from her fingertips. The bright, wonderful, though much too far from her reach world she created. She breathed in deeply and looked happily down at her creation. And like all good things it ended too soon.
"Hey Ellen!!" Elion jumped and glared across the room at the wall, as if acknowledging an invisible person. She had rather of acknowledged the wall then the annoyance behind her. She turned her head, meeting the faze of the visible person standing beside her. "I've told you before Jake It's Elion. L-e-on. Elle-eon. Not Ellen." I backed towards the door, adjusting my back pack, my eyes never left him. Haven straightened and adjusted his shirt, yanking it down. He bowed slowly, slightly and a crooked smile crossed his pink lips. He set his tall top hat on his head and tipped it at me. "I wish you a good evening my goddess of night."
I was walking on clouds on my way home. 'My goddess of night.' MY! He had put possession over my name. I felt all squishy and warm. Music blasted in my ears from my black ear buds. The houses and gardens, kids screaming and playing, floated past me. I noticed nothing, my mind was blocks away, at the Morticians shop.
When I finally got home my parents were furious. I stood there, taking their yells and criticism, worry and crap that the
